Joe Davis went 1-3 as the Toronto Rush (10-4) took home a 2-1 victory over the British Columbia Bombers (4-9) in eight innings at Palm Springs Stadium on Saturday.

Kyle Kennett brought the heat against the British Columbia Bombers during his outing. The British Columbia Bombers managed just one hit off of Kennett, who allowed one earned run, walked one and struck out eight during his five innings of work.

Alan Rombkowski brought the heat against the Toronto Rush during his outing. Rombkowski held the Toronto Rush hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Joel McKeithan got the win, running his season record to 1-0. McKeithan struck out four, walked two and gave up one hit.

Dominic Raia III (0-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
