Brock Frentzel collected three hits, sparking the Lethbridge Bulls (6-1) to a 5-2 victory over the Melville Millionaires (3-4) on Wednesday at Pirie Field.
He singled in the second and fifth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.The Lethbridge Bulls relied on Nathan Lainhart to eat up innings en route to the win. Lainhart pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and no walks while striking out four.
The Lethbridge Bulls couldn't get anything going so long as Joe Hallock was on the hill. The Lethbridge Bulls managed just one hit off of the the Melville Millionaires' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his three innings of work.
Josh Schuller was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out five, and allowed four runs.
