Saturday was a great day for Cameron Boudreaux, as he had four extra base hits to carry the Melville Millionaires (3-3) to a 16-4 victory over the Moose Jaw Miller Express (0-5) at Ross Wells Park.
Boudreaux racked up six RBIs on six hits for the Melville Millionaires. He homered in the first inning, doubled in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, and singled in the third and eighth innings.
The Melville Millionaires continued to pile on the runs until the end of the game. The Melville Millionaires scored three runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Melville Millionaires scored four runs in the fifth on the Melville Millionaires scored in the fifth on a fielder's choice, a two-run double by Boudreaux, and a single by Harrison Hull.
Brooks Benson paced the Moose Jaw Miller Express at the plate. Benson went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Owen Kelly improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed two runs over five innings. Kelly struck out five, walked one and gave up four hits.
Tanner Spencer (0-2) took the loss for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked three and struck out two.
