The SS-T T Bolts (7-7) built an early lead against the Bethesda Big Train (8-6), scoring four runs in the first inning, en route to a 7-4 win on Wednesday at Blair Stadium.

Grayland Fowler racked up two RBIs on two hits for the SS-T T Bolts. He singled in the first inning and homered in the third inning.

Matt Hornich brought the heat against the Bethesda Big Train during his outing. Hornich held the Bethesda Big Train hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Allen Smoot racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He singled in the third, fifth, and ninth innings.

Cole Benjamin improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the SS-T T Bolts. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered six hits.

John Murphy ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out one.
