Austin Hale racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He singled in the second inning and homered in the seventh inning.
Matt Pita was hot from the plate for the Gaithersburg Giants. Pita went 3-5. He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the ninth inning.
Drew Andrew improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Bethesda Big Train. He allowed two runs over six innings. Andrew struck out seven, walked two and gave up seven hits.
Nick Pantos (0-1) took the loss for the Gaithersburg Giants. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed one run.
