Hunter Parsons kept the Gaithersburg Giants (14-16) off the board during his six innings of work and the Baltimore Redbirds (22-7) beat the Gaithersburg Giants, 4-0.
Parsons struck out eight and allowed no walks and five hits.
Danny Blair went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for the Baltimore Redbirds. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings and doubled in the seventh inning.
A bright spot for the Gaithersburg Giants in the defeat was Elliot Zoellner, who allowed only two runs while striking out six.
Zoellner ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year.
