The Alexandria Aces (6-5) didn't stand a chance on Saturday, as the Baltimore Redbirds (8-2) captured a blowout 8-2 win at Calvert Hall HS.

A three-run single by Martin Costes and a solo home run by Kyle Datres helped the Baltimore Redbirds score four runs in the fifth. The Baltimore Redbirds had five hits in the inning.

Datres racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Baltimore Redbirds.

Cole Aker brought the heat against the Alexandria Aces during his outing. The Alexandria Aces managed just one hit off of Aker, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his five innings of work.

Drew Huff had a hot bat for the Alexandria Aces. Huff went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the ninth inning.

Evan Acosta ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
