The Baltimore Dodgers (6-4) beat the Gaithersburg Giants (5-6) 5-4 on Saturday at Criswell Automotive Field behind Tovine Potts, who collected three hits.

A bright spot for the Gaithersburg Giants in the defeat was Matt Chanin, who allowed only two runs while striking out five.

Matt Pita racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Gaithersburg Giants. He singled in the first, second, and ninth innings.

Alexander Ross got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed four runs over six innings. Ross struck out four, walked five and gave up five hits.

Alex Preston (0-1) took the loss for the Gaithersburg Giants. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
