Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Herndon Braves (7-6) outscored the Gaithersburg Giants (6-7) 10-8.

The teams totaled 16 hits in the game.

Cayden Stover racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Herndon Braves. He singled in the fifth inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Dom Morabito pitched lights out for the Herndon Braves. The Gaithersburg Giants managed just one hit off of the the Herndon Braves' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Nick Egli reached base three times. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the sixth inning.

Ryne Caudle improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Herndon Braves. He allowed four runs over three innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered four hits.

Calvin Bush (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in four innings, walked four and struck out three.
