The Baltimore Redbirds (6-2) continued to pile up the runs on Wednesday, scoring five runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 12-0 win over the D.C. Grays (3-5) at Washington Nationals Academy.

The Baltimore Redbirds scored three runs in the fifth on the Baltimore Redbirds scored in the fifth on an RBI single by Manny Pazos and a two-run single by DJ Miller.

Matt Rowland had two extra-base hits for the Baltimore Redbirds. He homered in the third innings and doubled in the seventh inning.

The D.C. Grays' lineup had no answer for Ryan Yesner. The D.C. Grays managed just one hit off of the the Baltimore Redbirds' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Mark Curtis improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Baltimore Redbirds. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Matthew Dalke ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.

The Baltimore Redbirds' Pazos, Martin Costes and Rowland combined for seven hits and seven RBIs.
