Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the D.C. Grays (3-4) and the Gaithersburg Giants (4-4), as the two teams put up 22 runs combined in a 13-9 the D.C. Grays win.

The teams totaled 24 hits in the game.

Jawan McAllister had a busy day at the plate, collecting three extra-base hits. He tripled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh and tenth innings.

Jake Josephs struck out seven hitters en route to the the D.C. Grays win. Josephs allowed three earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.

Jacob Potock was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out six, and allowed four runs.

The D.C. Grays were sparked by Denzl Chapman and McAllister, who teamed up for four hits and four RBIs.
