The Bethesda Big Train (4-3) and the Herndon Braves (4-4) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Bethesda Big Train that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-6 win at Herndon High School.
Justin Morris racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Bethesda Big Train. He doubled in the seventh and eighth innings.
The Herndon Braves had no answer for Blaine Michael, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Herndon Braves managed just one hit off of Michael, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.
