The Alexandria Aces (5-2) beat the Gaithersburg Giants (4-4) 10-1 on Tuesday thanks to a five-run seventh inning.

The Alexandria Aces scored in the seventh on a sacrifice fly by Liam McArthur, a two-run single by Niko Hulsizer, an RBI single by Micah Kaczor, and an RBI single by Ted Leathersich.

Chris Christian reached base three times. He singled in the third innings.

Billy Lescher picked up the win for the Alexandria Aces. Lescher pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks while striking out four.

Jacob Brewer (0-1) took the loss for the Gaithersburg Giants. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
