He singled in the sixth inning.Zac Treece put together a nice outing. Treece held the Florence Freedom hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.
Daniel Fraga did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Florence Freedom, reaching base three times. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.
Will Schierholz recorded his first win of the year for the River City Rascals. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered three hits.
Zach Wendorf ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 3 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed one run.
