Justin Cormier went 2-3 as the New Brunswick (4-1) took home a 3-1 victory over the Chatham (Host (3-2) in seven innings at SrM Ironmen Field on Saturday.

The Chatham (Host couldn't get anything going so long as JP Stevenson was on the hill. Stevenson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four during his two innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Chatham (Host's Jamie Walls dominated the New Brunswick's batters, giving up three runs and striking out five.

Brody McDonald improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the New Brunswick. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered four hits.
