Aaron Johnson collected three hits as the New Brunswick (2-0) took home a 6-3 victory over the Saskatchewan (0-2) in seven innings at SrM Ironmen Field on Friday.
He doubled in the third inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.Jordan Stevenson recorded his first win of the year for the New Brunswick. He allowed three runs over five innings. Stevenson struck out six, walked two and gave up eight hits.
Daniel Morari (0-1) took the loss for the Saskatchewan. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
