Tuesday was a great day for Dylan Dyson, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Lethbridge Bulls (3-0) to a 7-2 victory over the Swift Current Indians (0-3) at Mitchell Field.
Tyler Gibson got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked six and surrendered five hits.
Nelson Quark ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
The Lethbridge Bulls were sparked by Dyson and Bretton Gouthro, who teamed up for eight hits and five RBIs.
