Aaron Soto held the Matsu Miners (0-1) scoreless for nine innings to boost the Anchorage Bucs (1-0) to a 6-2 victory.

Soto struck out five and allowed three walks and eight hits.

Brodie Leftridge racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Anchorage Bucs. He singled in the ninth inning and tripled in the twelfth inning.

Austen Zimarik improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Anchorage Bucs. Zimarik struck out one, walked none and gave up three hits.

Brigham Hill ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out four.
