Taylor Walls went 2-3 as the Anchorage Bucs (15-17) took home a 4-1 victory over the Alaska Goldpanners (10-19) in seven innings at Growden Memorial Park on Wednesday.
He singled in the third inning and tripled in the fifth inning.The Alaska Goldpanners couldn't get anything going as long as Quin Grogan was pitching. Grogan gave up just three hits, allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out one during his six innings of work.
Joe Wills couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Alaska Goldpanners, taking a loss. He lasted just seven innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
