The British Columbia get key pinch-hit in 3-1 victory over the Ontario 2

Story by Narrative Science.

Carter Clark was cold coming off the bench, but Clark warmed up quickly as Clark stroked a key pinch-hit double in the one to lead the British Columbia (2-0) to a 3-1 win over the Ontario two (1-2) on Friday at Parc Laverdiere one.

With the game scoreless in the first inning Clark came to the plate and doubled, scoring Carlin Dick.

The British Columbia's Dick showed his talents on both sides of the diamond with a strong game on the bump and at the plate.

Dick had a hot bat for the British Columbia. Dick went 1-3 and scored one run. He tripled in the first inning.

Dick kept contact to a minimum, striking out three the Ontario two batters. The British Columbia's pitcher gave up just four hits over four shutout innings.

Owen Dobosh (0-1) took the loss for the Ontario two. He lasted just three innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
