Codi Scanlon tossed a shutout to lift the Yorkton Cardinals (9-13) to a 6-0 win over the Swift Current Indians (5-14) at Jubilee Park in seven innings.

Scanlon held the Swift Current Indians scoreless during his seven innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on four hits while striking out eight.

The Yorkton Cardinals' bats came to life in the fourth inning. In the inning the Yorkton Cardinals scored five runs. The Yorkton Cardinals scored in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Nate Green, , , , , a single by Landon Briscoe, and a sacrifice fly by Nick Gotta.

Nelson Quark (2-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just three innings, walked five, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
