The Medicine Hat Mavericks (9-8) built an early edge on Monday, but the Okotoks Dawgs (9-9) roared back to steal a 5-3 victory at Seaman Stadium.
The Okotoks Dawgs took the lead in the fourth inning on a sacrifice fly by Alex Gudac.
The Medicine Hat Mavericks had no answer for Trevor Swaney, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Medicine Hat Mavericks managed just three hits off of Swaney, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his four innings of work.
