Zach Featherstone went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Lake Norman Copperheads (5-9) took home an 8-5 victory over the SBA Bones (10-4) at Billings Field at Hopewell HS on Wednesday.
He homered in the third inning.Austin Hancock picked up the win for the Lake Norman Copperheads. Hancock allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.
Nick Nunziato put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the SBA Bones. He doubled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Logan Beehler (2-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 1/3 innings, walked none and struck out two.
