Jeremie Arseneau went 2-2 and hit a home run, sparking the New Brunswick (3-0) to a 7-4 victory in seven innings over the Nova Scotia (1-2) on Friday at Julien Morin.

He homered in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Zack Zinck racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Nova Scotia. He doubled in the first and third innings.

Matt Nason recorded his first win of the year for the New Brunswick. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out three, walked six and surrendered three hits.

Cameron Chisholm ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
