The Chatham (Host (3-1) beat the Newfoundland (1-3) 3-0 in eight innings on Saturday at SrM Ironmen Field behind Kris Keating, who went 1-3.

Robbie Murphy brought the heat against the Newfoundland during his outing. The Newfoundland managed just two hits off of Murphy, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his four innings of work.

Greg Barry (0-1) took the loss for the Newfoundland. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
