Thursday was a great day for Francois Lafreniere, as Lafreniere tossed a shutout to carry the Qu��bec (1-0) to a 1-0 victory over the Ontario (0-1) at SrM Ironmen Field in seven innings.

Lafreniere racked up 11 strikeouts in the the Qu��bec win. The Qu��bec's pitcher gave up just two hits over seven shutout innings.

Rob Nixon couldn't get it done on the hill for the Ontario, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out eight, and allowed one run.
