Hunter Tipton kept the Moose Jaw Miller Express (18-28) off the board during his eight innings of work and the Weyburn Beavers (29-17) beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express, 3-0.

Tipton allowed six hits, no walks and struck out three.

The Weyburn Beavers were led by Spencer Mallonee's hitting. Mallonee went 3-4. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and eighth innings.

Kyle Sonntag was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just eight innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
