A walk-off single from Cody Stewart brought home the winning run for the Lethbridge Bulls (34-13) in a 4-3 victory over the Okotoks Dawgs (28-19) in 10 innings at Spitz Stadium on Thursday.
Stewart paced the Lethbridge Bulls at the plate. Stewart went 4-6 and drove in one. He singled in the first, seventh, eighth, and tenth innings.
Jake Hansen had an impressive outing against the Okotoks Dawgs' lineup. Hansen held the Okotoks Dawgs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
Chris Stodolka got the win, running his season record to 6-0. He struck out none, walked two and surrendered one hit.
Holden Lyons (4-2) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
