Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Medicine Hat Mavericks (23-21) and the Okotoks Dawgs (27-17), as the two teams put up 19 runs combined in a 11-8 the Medicine Hat Mavericks win.

The teams totaled 25 hits in the game.

Brody Hawkins racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the third inning and homered in the sixth inning.

The Okotoks Dawgs had no answer for Myles Richard, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Richard held the Okotoks Dawgs hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Dakota Parsons improved to 3-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed one run over zero innings. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
