The Okotoks Dawgs (24-16) and the Swift Current Indians (13-27) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Okotoks Dawgs that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out a 6-5 win at Seaman Stadium.
Brendan Hendriks racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Okotoks Dawgs. He homered in the fifth inning.
Justin Esquerra had a hot bat for the Swift Current Indians. Esquerra went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the third, fourth, and eighth innings.
Holden Lyons recorded his fourth win of the year for the Okotoks Dawgs. Lyons struck out two, walked none and gave up seven hits.
JD Heredia was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
