Offenses dominate as the Lethbridge Bulls outscore the Regina Red Sox 9-8

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Lethbridge Bulls (30-11) outscored the Regina Red Sox (19-21) 9-8.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

The Lethbridge Bulls were led by a flawless day at the dish by Evan Comeau, who went 4-4 against the Regina Red Sox's pitching. He singled in the third, seventh, eighth, and ninth innings.

The Regina Red Sox had no answer for Cole Slamko, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Slamko held the Regina Red Sox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Chris Stodolka got the win, running his season record to 5-0. He allowed two runs over one inning. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.

Mike Thill (2-2) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
