A walk-off single from Tanner Stokey brought home the winning run for the Regina Red Sox (18-20) in a 5-4 victory over the Weyburn Beavers (25-14) in 10 innings at Currie Field on Sunday.

Stokey was hot from the plate for the Regina Red Sox. Stokey went 1-5 and drove in one. He singled in the tenth inning.

Zach Weatherford reached base four times in the game for the Regina Red Sox. He singled in the first and fifth innings.

Andrew MacMahon pitched lights out for the Regina Red Sox. MacMahon held the Weyburn Beavers hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Mike Thill got the win, running his season record to 1-1. Thill struck out three, walked none and gave up two hits.

Eric Evans couldn't get it done on the mound for the Weyburn Beavers, taking a loss. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed one run.
