Brian Sisler collected three hits, sparking the Okotoks Dawgs (20-14) to an 8-4 victory over the Medicine Hat Mavericks (19-15) on Wednesday at Seaman Stadium.

Holden Lyons pitched lights out for the Okotoks Dawgs. Lyons held the Medicine Hat Mavericks hitless over 1 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Jose Cruz led the Medicine Hat Mavericks' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Dakota Parsons ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
