Drew Brooks hit two home runs, but it wasn't enough to carry the Swift Current Indians (10-21) to a win on Saturday, as the Swift Current Indians fell to the Medicine Hat Mavericks (18-13) 15-12 at Athletic Park.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 27 runs and 25 hits, including zero extra base hits. Relief pitchers got their fill of innings during the game, with the opposing managers using 10 pitchers in total.

Ryan Kemp racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He singled in the second innings and homered in the seventh inning.

Jared Bell got his second win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks despite allowing 10 runs over 5 2/3 innings. Bell struck out four, walked none and gave up seven hits.

Nelson Quark was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed five runs.
