The Weyburn Beavers (27-16) jumped on the Okotoks Dawgs (26-16) early on their way to a 5-2 win on Wednesday at Tom Laing Park, scoring three runs in the first inning.

Dan Moro did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Weyburn Beavers, reaching base three times. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
