The Swift Current Indians (10-18) beat the Moose Jaw Miller Express (12-18) 5-4 on Wednesday at Mitchell Field behind Nick Day, who had two extra base hits.

Marvin Malone had a hot bat for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. Malone went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Bryce Bush recorded his first win of the year for the Swift Current Indians. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Mitch Gullikson was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
