Tofteland helps the Okotoks Dawgs down the Regina Red Sox 9-4

Dane Tofteland drove in three runs as the Okotoks Dawgs (16-12) took home a 9-4 victory over the Regina Red Sox (12-17) at Currie Field on Monday.

He homered in the eighth inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Holden Lyons had an impressive outing against the Regina Red Sox's lineup. Lyons held the Regina Red Sox hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Jordan Schulz racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Regina Red Sox. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the fifth inning.

Dylan Nelson recorded his fourth win of the year for the Okotoks Dawgs. He allowed three runs over five innings. Nelson struck out six, walked one and gave up five hits.

Parks Smithey couldn't get it done on the hill for the Regina Red Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
