Ryan Grotjohn went 2-3, sparking the Melville Millionaires (10-19) to a 2-1 victory over the Yorkton Cardinals (12-17) on Sunday at Jubilee Park.

The Yorkton Cardinals had no answer for Hunter Vasquez, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Yorkton Cardinals managed just two hits off of the the Melville Millionaires' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his seven innings of work.

Garrett Osterode allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out four over eight innings of work.

Osterode ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year.
