An impressive effort by Ben Schweinfurth spurred the Melville Millionaires (8-17) to a 1-0 win over the Yorkton Cardinals on Wednesday at Jubilee Park.

Schweinfurth held the Yorkton Cardinals (9-16) scoreless during his nine innings of work. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on four hits while ringing up nine.

Camran Bonnema allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk while striking out five over eight innings of work.

Bonnema (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher.
