Chase Goldwater was cold coming off the bench, but Goldwater warmed up quickly as Goldwater stroked a key pinch-hit single in the eight to lead the Melville Millionaires (13-21) to a 7-5 win over the Okotoks Dawgs (20-14) on Friday at Seaman Stadium.

With the score tied at five, Goldwater came to the plate and singled.

Ryan Grotjohn racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Melville Millionaires. He tripled in the first inning and singled in the eighth innings.

Brian Sisler racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the first inning and tripled in the third inning.

Austin Stewart improved to 1-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Melville Millionaires. Stewart struck out four, walked one and gave up three hits.

Jeremy Newton (0-1) took the loss for the Okotoks Dawgs. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
