The Medicine Hat Mavericks (10-9) and the Swift Current Indians (5-13) both had scoring chances on Wednesday, but it was the Medicine Hat Mavericks that were able to capitalize on them as they pulled out an 8-6 win at Mitchell Field.

Tyler Enns reached base three times in the game for the Swift Current Indians. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.
Even though Landon Russo allowed five runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his second of the season. Russo struck out three, walked one and gave up 10 hits.
David Stagg ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out none.
