Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Weyburn Beavers (13-3) outscored the Melville Millionaires (3-12) 18-11.

The Weyburn Beavers scored in the first on an RBI single by Corey Harrel, an RBI single by Anthony Balderama, a two-run single by Marcus Blackmon Jr, an RBI single by Colin Rintoul, and an RBI single by Dan Moro.

Moro racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Weyburn Beavers.

Tanner Ring recorded his first win of the year for the Weyburn Beavers. He allowed one run over 3 2/3 innings. Ring struck out none, walked one and gave up two hits.

Anthony Duen ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out none.
