Josh Davis was cold coming off the bench, but Davis warmed up quickly as Davis stroked a key pinch-hit single in the six to lead the Okotoks Dawgs (8-8) to a 7-6 win over the Edmonton Prospects (6-7) on Friday at Telus Field.

With the Okotoks Dawgs trailing by one in the sixth inning, Davis came to the plate and singled.

Brian Sisler racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Okotoks Dawgs. He singled in the sixth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Holden Lyons's eight strikeouts were enough to push the Okotoks Dawgs past the Edmonton Prospects. Lyons allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over five innings.

Logan Wedgewood racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Edmonton Prospects. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the ninth inning.

Matt Weaver (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
