Colin Rintoul did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Weyburn Beavers, reaching base three times. He singled in the seventh and ninth innings.
Scott Beever picked up the win for the Weyburn Beavers. Beever pitched eight innings and allowed two earned runs, seven hits and one walk while striking out five.
The Swift Current Indians were led by Darren Kolk's hitting. Kolk went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings.
Colby DeVries (0-2) took the loss for the Swift Current Indians. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
