Derek Cornell collected four hits, helping the Moose Jaw Miller Express (7-9) to a 9-4 victory over the Regina Red Sox (9-6) on Wednesday at Ross Wells Park.

He singled in the second, fourth, and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Brad Danzeisen recorded his first win of the year for the Moose Jaw Miller Express. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out eight, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Tommy Lay (1-1) took the loss for the Regina Red Sox. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked none and struck out two.
