Chris Horvath kept the Edmonton Prospects (6-5) off the board during his six innings of work and the Okotoks Dawgs (6-8) beat the Edmonton Prospects, 1-0.

Horvath struck out five and allowed one walk and three hits.

Brian Sisler reached base three times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Kyle Garvin was effective even in defeat, mowing down five the Okotoks Dawgs batters and allowing zero runs.

Holden Lyons recorded his first win of the year for the Okotoks Dawgs. Lyons struck out two, walked one and gave up no hits.

Brenden Wiun couldn't get it done on the hill for the Edmonton Prospects, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked one, struck out none, and allowed one run.
