The Regina Red Sox (8-5) beat the Melville Millionaires (3-9) 6-2 on Sunday at Pirie Field behind Zach Weatherford, who collected three hits.

Tyler Shumpert got the win for the Regina Red Sox thanks to six strikeouts. Shumpert allowed two earned runs, four hits and two walks over seven innings.

The Regina Red Sox had no answer for Hunter Vasquez, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Regina Red Sox managed just one hit off of Vasquez, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his four innings of work.

Austin Stewart (0-3) took the loss for the Melville Millionaires. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked three and struck out four.
