Dane Tofteland went 2-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Okotoks Dawgs (4-8) to a 4-2 victory over the Swift Current Indians (2-7) on Saturday at Mitchell Field.

Nick Vickers brought the heat against the Swift Current Indians during his outing. The Swift Current Indians managed just one hit off of Vickers, who allowed one earned run, walked three and struck out three during his 4 2/3 innings of work.

Despite the loss, the Swift Current Indians' Nelson Quark dominated the Okotoks Dawgs' batters, giving up three runs and striking out six.

Jose Rojas led the Swift Current Indians' offensive threat, as he got on base two times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the eighth inning.

Brandon Zywicki recorded his first win of the year for the Okotoks Dawgs. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Quark couldn't get it done on the hill for the Swift Current Indians, taking a loss.
