Bryan Arthur went 2-3, sparking the Medicine Hat Mavericks (4-5) to a 7-2 victory over the Lethbridge Bulls (7-2) on Tuesday at Spitz Stadium.

Dylan Bell brought the heat against the Lethbridge Bulls during his outing. Bell held the Lethbridge Bulls hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Despite the loss, the Lethbridge Bulls' Ben Kennedy dominated the Medicine Hat Mavericks' batters, giving up one run and striking out six.

Landon Russo improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Medicine Hat Mavericks. He allowed two runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked one and surrendered nine hits.

Luc Hebert (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 1 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out three.
