Chris Erker kept the Yorkton Cardinals (4-3) off the board during his six innings of work and the Weyburn Beavers (5-1) beat the Yorkton Cardinals, 12-0.

Erker allowed six hits, one walk and struck out six.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Weyburn Beavers in the eighth. The Weyburn Beavers' bats caught fire leading to seven runs. The Weyburn Beavers scored in the eighth on an RBI single by Spencer Mallonee, , , , an RBI double by Jordan Anderson, a double by Anderson, and a sacrifice fly by Corey Harrel.

Brenden Meade got on base three times in the game for the Weyburn Beavers. He scored four runs and had one RBI.

Codi Scanlon was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out seven, and allowed four runs.
